My husband Looooves coming here. Anytime we are in the area this is the first place he asks to go. We decided to bring my sister and her family since they were in town dropping off my nephew for his first weekend at college. They've never had it before as well and really enjoyed being able to create their own bowls. It truly is a no nonsense place so don't expect anything flashy. Just walk in, get your bowls ready with your fav options, and go eat! Prices are fair and it really is worth it if you love to eat for cheap!

If you love Su's Mongolian near Santa Clara University, you'll love MP Mongolian. When I found this place, I was curious to see how it compared. Little did I know, they're practically the same place! When I asked the owner, she said her sister owns Su's Mongolian! Therefore, their food taste and quality is exactly the same. This place however seems newer and slightly more modern. The lines are not too bad at all! There is also plenty of seating! The exterior looks like it would be part of an industrial business area, and it has a lot of parking! Service was good and I had my water refilled right away. There is also an all you can eat self serve soft serve machine with really milky tasting soft serve. When making my bowl, I always go with the 1st timer recipe for sauce. It's the flavor I prefer, however you can tailor it to your preference. My partner always makes a bowl with just the pineapple juice to make his bowl sweeter and more bulgogi tasting. This place is my jam!

I thought this place was not bad. It's a little expensive like $25+ per person on weekends but I thought the food was pretty decent. It's a buffet but you can only go up like twice during your visit. You do get two bowls per visit which is actually a lot of food. The buffet bar had noodles and lots of meats and veggies. There was white rice on the side table if you wanted that and it's not cooked with the rest of your food. There was a nice variety of oils and sauces that you could use for the bowl and they had some premade combination recipes if you didn't know what to do. The food was not bad. The flavors reminded me of good takeout Chinese food from the East Coast! I like my food a little spicy so I had added some of the chili oil and thought it was great. I also like my food on the oilier side so I tried to add in more oil.

I've been to this place twice, and I really enjoy it! You can't really go wrong with Mongolian BBQ! The ingredients here are fresh. It's exactly what you would expect. When you enter you take two bowls. One for meat, and one for everything else. They have a wide selection of proteins, noodles, and vegetables. After you season to your liking with the various sauces, one of the staff members will cook up your food. After you finish, you can then have one more round (2 more bowls). This place offers free rice and ice cream as well. When you're done eating, you pay at the front. Overall, it's a really solid place. The place has a large parking lot and it doesn't seem to get too busy, so you'll definitely not need to wait.

I was craving this place after going to another Mongolian grill that just didn't hit the spot. This place is super efficient! I would recommend to always go thru the line with 2 bowls especially since it is no longer all you can eat and your only able to make 2 rounds. Lots of dipping sauces to change up the flavor so it doesn't get boring! Don't forget the ice cream machine on the back side wal!

Plaza parking is available Come hungry! Haha I'd consider this a bang for your buck given the Menlo Park/Palo Alto area Mongolian BBQ is one of my favorite dishes and it's always my go-to if it's available in shopping malls so I'm happy to see there's a restaurant dedicated specifically to it Once you walk in, you're greeted by the owner (I believe) and to the right is when you begin the process! 2 rounds total ($23.xx dinner price and additional $11 I believe per round afterwards) 4 bowls max, essentially - one to hold all your veggies - one to hold all your noodles and proteins I love the variety they offer for proteins such as lamb and tofu Me and bb were left feeling stuffed by the end of the night Would recommend if you're wanting a cheap eats in the area and will be back to bring my brother too hehe
